Parenting Teenagers: From Crazy to Connected

Parenting adolescents is often a challenge! In their efforts to teach children appropriate behaviour and responsibility and guide them through the transition from childhood to adulthood, parents can sometimes feel helpless. This workshop will help develop resources and strategies to effectively connect and guide teens. We will be exploring how to embrace the adolescent phase as a rite of passage rather than something to just “survive and get through”
This experiential workshop is designed to explore the developmental stage of adolescence through neurological and social research, and to discuss how to address parents’ concerns and teenagers’ needs. Practical applications of systemic changes through Transformational Systemic Therapy will be discussed and practiced.
